Taylor Patterson was named Director of Business Operations in October 2023 and was elevated to the role of Assistant AD, Business Operations in February of 2025.
Patterson oversees all accounting functions and day-to-day operations for both revenue and expenses in the business office for the entirety of the UNT athletic department. Along with the Executive Senior Associate AD for Business operations, Patterson also helps manage and coordinate all team and administrative budgets for the department.
In his original role of Director, Patterson coordinated and reconciled all team travel, oversaw travel contracts for squad and staff travel, and assisted sports/department with travel planning in preparation for the annual budgeting process.
Prior to North Texas, he was Business Coordinator at Texas A&M (2023), Business Office Graduate Assistant at TCU (2021-23) and Operational Supervisor (2020-21) at Aramark at Clemson University.
He received his Bachelor’s in Parks, Recreation & Tourism management at the University of Clemson University and a Master’s in Business Administration at Texas Christian University.
Patterson’s interests are playing pickleball, cooking, working out, going on the lake and trying new restaurants.
