Mean Green Knocks Off Fourth Place Florida Atlantic
DENTON-North Texas, after dropping set one, storms back to defeat a tough Florida Atlantic squad in four sets in the North Texas Volleyball Center on Friday night.

Noteworthy
• With only four kills to go, senior Carnae Dillard may be the program's all-time kills leader by the end of the first set in Friday's match against FAU. The current number to beat is 2,211, set by Corina Marginas in 2003. Dillard is only the second North Texas player to have 2,000 kills, and she leads all active D-I volleyball players in career kills.

• The Mean Green currently owns the third place standing in the Conference USA standings. The top two teams in the league - WKU and UTSA - have already clinched their births to the conference tournament in San Antonio. With the team's current ranking, postseason action is almost a guarantee.

• NT brought a three-match losing streak to a halt in last week's win against UTEP and followed that win with a victory versus Southern Miss. The Mean Green is now 7-4 in C-USA in 2015, with four matches remaining on the regular season schedule.

North Texas Dominates FIU in Sweep
DENTON-The Mean Green swept Florida International in dominant fashion on Sunday (25-17, 25-17, 27-25), en route to its 75th victory inside the North Texas Volleyball Center.

• This year's volleyball team is hitting at a historically accurate pace as the squad's .237 hitting percentage would be the second-best mark in team history. Additionally, sophomore Amanda Chamberlain's .334 percentage comes in at third all-time as she has a .319 average for her career. The all-time career record for hitting percentage is .330, set by Karissa Flack in 2013.

• The lineup has seen its share of change and that trend didn't stop in week 10. Last week, the Mean Green coaching staff moved setter Amy Henard to libero, a position she had never played before, while freshmen Alex Janak and Karley York split time at setter. The trio combined for four double-doubles in matches against UTEP and Southern Miss.

• On five seperate occassions this season, senior Carnae Dillard has been named C-USA Offensive Player of the Week. The San Antonio native most recently won the award after combining for a .312 hitting mark and 44 kills in two matches against LA Tech and #22 WKU. Thirty of those kills came in a five-set thriller against the conference frontrunner Lady Toppers.
