The momentum was squarely in the favor of the Warhawks - who took Denver to five games each time they have squared off as they came out hot and took a quick 8-0 lead; however, NT regained its focus to finally take the lead at 26-25 and finished things off with back-to-back kills by Prokof.
The Mean Green host Denver Nov. 11 in the final regular-season match before hosting the Johnny Carino’s Sun Belt Conference Tournament Nov. 15-18.
