DENTON, Texas (10/29/09) - Come out and catch the North Texas volleyball team as they drive for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament this Friday and Sunday against UALR and Arkansas State.
North Texas jumped back into the driver's seat in its hunt for a Sun Belt Conference Tournament berth with 3-1 wins at both South Alabama and Troy. NT had Denver on the ropes on Monday night, but couldn't deliver the knockout punch. For now, the Mean Green sits one spot out of the tourney's eighth and final seed with seven matches remaining.

- Amy Huddleston now has 780 career kills and needs just 11 more to tie for 10th place in school history.
- Kati Dillard, the great wall of North Texas, will step into the North Texas record books with her next assisted block. She already has 79 assisted blocks this year, which is just one away from the top 10 list.
- The win over Troy on Saturday night was the 400th in the history of North Texas volleyball. Cassie Headrick has accounted for 130 of NT's 400 wins (32.5 percent).
- The longest home stand in school history started on Monday night against Denver. NT will host six straight Sun Belt opponents in Denton over the next two weeks.
