DENTON, Texas - As if a 17-match road streak wasn't tough enough, the North Texas volleyball team will return to Denton for its home opener on Friday to face the reigning AVCA National Player of the Week in Louisiana-Lafayette's Lindsay Brown.
Brown has the Ragin' Cajuns off to a 10-6 start and a perfect 2-0 clip in Sun Belt play, and will take on NT at the Mean Green Volleyball Center on Friday at 7 p.m. The senior libero, who owns her program's all-time career digs lead, averaged 7.0 digs per set last weekend in ULL's wins over South Alabama and Troy.

Looking to offset the defensive prowess of Brown and the Ragin' Cajuns will be the middle based attack of the Mean Green, which ranks third in the Sun Belt in kills and attack percentage.
Senior Amy Huddleston is climbing the career kills charts at NT, and currently ranks third in the SBC with 3.68 kills per set. Setter Kayla Saey leads the Sun Belt in assists by exactly half an assist per set.
The Mean Green is no slouch on the defensive end of the floor either. While ULL leads the league in digs, NT isn't far behind in third. Sarah Willey, who is just six digs away from becoming the fourth NT player with 1,000 career digs, ranks fourth in the SBC with 4.38 per set.
