DENTON, Texas – Off to a hot 13-5 start, the North Texas volleyball team will welcomes regional Big 12 rival Baylor to the Mean Green Volleyball Center on Tuesday night a 6:30 p.m.
Courtney Windham, who began her career at Baylor, has been a force for NT this fall with 3.42 kills and 1.39 blocks per set, which leads the Sun Belt Conference.
Baylor comes in just as hot at 13-1, including a win over No. 25 California earlier in the season. The Bears took last year’s meeting 3-0 in Waco, Texas. Alyssa Dibbern leads Baylor with 3.00 kills per set on .280 hitting.
Last weekend, North Texas head coach Ken Murczek picked up his 50th career victory, and he did it faster than anyone in school history. Murczek has been at NT for 85 matches, while the previous record holder, Dolores Copeland, took 89 matches to reach the plateau.
