NOTE THE MATCH TIME CHANGE. WEDNESDAY’S MATCH NOW BEGINS AT 7 P.M.
DENTON, Texas – The North Texas volleyball team will look to notch victory No. 10 at home on Wednesday against Prairie View A&M. The match, which was originally scheduled for 5 p.m., will now begin at 7 p.m.
North Texas secured the best 10-match start in school history over the weekend. The Mean Green swept Oral Roberts to move to 8-2 through 10 games. Two of the top three 10-match starts in school history have now occurred in the Ken Murczek era.
Speaking of Murczek, he will be looking to take one step closer to career victory No. 50. The third-year coach is sitting on 46 wins, and would be the fastest coach to reach 50 if he can accomplish the feat in NT’s next eight matches.
North Texas’ opponent will be a familiar one. The Mean Green faced the Panthers in the season opener back in August, and rolled PVAM with .330 hitting as a team.
