Volleyball Alumni Match Set For August 19
Alumni Roster Features Four Former All-Conference Selections
DENTON - The North Texas volleyball team will host an alumni match on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 4 p.m. at the North Texas Volleyball Center, announced Wednesday by head coach Andrew Palileo. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
Palileo also released the roster for the alumni squad, which includes assistant coach and two-time Conference USA Player of the Year, Carnae Dillad, along with three other former all-conference selections:

Palileo is set to begin his fifth season at the helm of the program, coming off a down year that ended with a 13-19 record and a 7-7 mark in C-USA play. North Texas returns nine letterwinners from last season, including the top five point scorers and four starters. Six incoming freshmen round out the 15-player roster.
The Mean Green open the 2017 campaign on Friday, Aug. 25, when they host Tulsa in the North Texas Invitational, which includes Prairie View A&M and Montana. Conference play opens on Friday, Sept. 22, on the road against Southern Miss.
For the second straight year, the North Texas volleyball team was picked to finish sixth in the Conference USA Preseason Poll. The team also placed two members on the preseason all-conference team (seniors Amanda Chamberlain, Holly Milam).
