Mean Green Volleyball Hosting UT Arlington Today In Spring Exhibition

DENTON, Texas (4/22/10) - Don't miss your chance to see the North Texas volleyball team and new head coach Ken Murczek in action as the Mean Green takes on UT Arlington in the spring finale today at 4 p.m. Also stick around for a free-clinic with the Mean Green!

North Texas has been scorching through spring action, and will be taking on the Mavericks in their only home match until fall. Watch the game live online!

Admission to the Mean Green Volleyball Center is free, and following the game we're offering a free 30 minute clinic with the North Texas volleyball team! Bring your child after school gets out, watch a Division-I college match, meet your favorite Mean Green player, and play some volleyball.  Estimated time for the clinic is 6:00-6:30.

Murczek and the Mean Green are also running a five-week Sunday evening league for 5th-8th graders starting Sunday, April 25 and finishing Sunday, May 23. All participants will get 40 minutes of instruction followed by one 25 point game each week. The cost is $59, which provides 5 weeks of training/game play, plus a t-shirt.

North Texas Volleyball Summer Camp dates have been set and our camp brochure is finished. Let your child stay in the dorms with a friend for a couple of nights and play a ton of volleyball in our three-day all-skills overnight camp, or bring them to a couple of the day clinics and let them improve their skills and have fun over a three hour clinic.
