DENTON, Texas - No. 67 Mean Green tennis is set to play host to cross-town rival UTA on Monday afternoon at the Waranch Tennis Complex for its final regular season home contest.
North Texas (12-6) is looking to keep building momentum as it races through the final week of the regular season.
The Mean Green is fresh off of a 5-2 victory over Conference USA's UCF on Saturday afternoon and is going for its 19th win over the Mavericks of UTA (12-7) all time.
Junior Valentina Starkova and freshman Kseniya Bardabush were the lone North Texas members to record wins in both singles and doubles on Saturday.
UTA enters the match riding a four match win streak including a 6-1 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Friday afternoon.
Monday afternoon's match marks the Mean Green Spirit Day for North Texas tennis. Free hotdogs and beverages will be provided during the match.
First serve is set for 3 p.m., with doubles taking the court first.
