Cross-Town Rival No. 58 UTA Next For Tennis

DENTON, Texas - Mean Green tennis travels across-town to square-off with No. 58 UTA Thursday afternoon at the UTA Tennis Center.

The Mean Green (6-10) is looking to rebound from a tough 4-0 loss to Denver, while the Mavericks (12-4) look to keep things rolling after winning four matches in a row.

"UTA has had a terrific year and are playing well," said head coach Sujay Lama. "We need every one to step up and compete at their best for us to be successful. We are looking forward to the challenge."

Nadia Lee, after recording an unfinished in Denver, will be looking to win her third match in a row. The junior transfer from Lee College dropped five total games in the previous two matches.

Irina Paraschiv will also be looking to get back on track. The junior won six matches in a row, spanning from Feb. 13 to March 9, but has won only three of her six matches since.

The tilt will begin at 3 p.m., and a full recap can be found on MeanGreenSports.com following the match.
