March 5, 2014

FORT WORTH, Texas - The North Texas tennis team takes on regional foe No. 70 TCU at 2 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

“This is a big week for us because we play three very good teams,” head coach Sujay Lama said. “We are playing well, but more importantly, we have been consistent with our effort, energy and togetherness. We are excited to compete and continue raising our level of play.”

In 2012, the Mean Green defeated the Horned Frogs for the first time in program history, and the record now stands at TCU 35, North Texas 1.

On Friday, Mar. 7, the Mean Green welcomes the Louisville Cardinals for a nine-game homestand at the Warranch Tennis Complex at 3 p.m. The Cardinals have a slight 3-2 edge in the last five meetings.

The Mean Green will finish up a busy weekend on Sunday, Mar. 10, against Denver at 11 a.m.
