The North Texas tennis team has started the spring season with a record of 5-1. Barbora and the team face 30th-ranked Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m.


Was named an all-conference doubles player with partner Nadia Lee ... Was a member of the 2012 Sun Belt Championship Team ... Recorded an 8-3 record for the spring ... Finished 2-1 in conference play ... Defeated Tara Basovic from ULL as well as Marietta Bigus form Middle Tennessee ... Had a 10-2 doubles record in the No. 1 position while partnered with Nadia Lee ... Began the season partnered with Valentina Starkova defeating No.57 Federica Denti/Kelsey Sundaram from No. 44 TCU... Nabbed the best fall record for North Texas, finishing 12-3 ... Recorded four victories at the USTA Invitational and claimed the flight championship ... Also won North Texas Classic flight championship.

Tallied a 17-18 record in her first full season as a member of the Mean Green ... Played primarily at the No. 1- No. 3 slots in singles and finished the dual season with a 6-13 record ... Finish 1-3 in conference with a win over South Alabama's Alina Volman, 7-6, 6-3 ... Won six of her first seven matches of the fall and captured the Mean Green Invitational Championship ... beat UALR's Rachel Pierce twice during the Sooner Invitational, 6-1, 6-0 both times ... Spent the entire season with Barbora Vykydalova in doubles, assembling a 19-15 record ... The duo also had the best dual record on the team with a 11-9 finish, going 10-8 from the No. 1 spot ... Defeated the No. 1 doubles team of Jo-Anne Karaitiana and Alexandra Kichoutkin from 21st ranked Tulsa  8-3 ... Took down No. 48 Texas Tech's Kelsy Garland and Samantha Adams 8-1 ... Went 8-6 in fall tournament play.

Named the Mean Green Player to watch … Compiled an 11-10 record in her first season at North Texas, playing every singles spot but No. 6 … Won her first ever match with the Mean Green in the season opener at Jacksonville University in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0 … Was one of four singles victories in the Sun Belt Championship match against No. 49 Florida International … Teamed with senior Catalina Cruz to collect an 11-10 record in doubles, including wins over duos from No. 73 Texas Tech and No. 38 Florida International … Arrived in Denton as a January commitment.

Competed in ITF Futures tournaments throughout Europe since 2006 … Appeared at a 2008 tournament in Poland where she won six matches, three qualifying and three in the main draw, en route to a quarterfinal appearance … Ranked No. 28 in women’s singles in 2008 in the Czech Republic national rankings … Highest junior ranking that she achieved was in 2005 at No. 25.

Daughter of Alexandra and Vit Vykydalova … Born August 16, 1989 … Has one older sister, Nikola Vykydalova.
