FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -
The North Texas tennis team heads to Fayetteville, Ark. for a weekend dual against the No.49-ranked Razorbacks Friday, Jan 31., and Southern Illinois Saturday, Feb.1.
“Arkansas is a quality team that will be a good test for us, and Southern Illinois is much improved and a program on the rise,” said head coach Sujay Lama. “We have been working hard, especially on our doubles and hope to see it pay off this weekend.”
The Mean Green is 0-3 in the dual matches and is looking to pick up their first win of the season after taking on No. 6 USC, No. 28 Oklahoma and No. 59 University of Utah.
“We want to build on the progress we made last week,” Lama said. “The primary focus is on preparation, competing hard and developing with each match. If we continue to keep the focus on the process, results will come.”
Friday’s match will begin at 2 p.m. and Saturday’s at 1 p.m.
