North Texas Swimming And Diving Set For Two Dual Meets

Oct. 27, 2016

DENTON- After being off for nearly two weeks, the Mean Green swimming and diving team will return to competition at home this weekend versus Rice and Houston.

North Texas’ last meet was the Little Rock Invitational on Oct. 15, where the Mean Green locked up their first victory of the season. The victory marked the first of interim head coach Brittany Roth’s career.

Junior Sarah Vaisse collected three first-place finishes, while senior diver Samantha Scheck swept the one and three-meter diving events.

North Texas won both relay events at the Little Rock Invitational as well. The 200 medley relay team comprised of Ash Stone, Vaisse, Jowita Sienczyk and Isabelle Morris finished with a time of 1:46.67. Anchored by Vaisse in the 200 freestyle relay, Morris, Emma Beth Jensen and Sienczyk placed first with a time of 1:37.12.
