Boise State Series History North Texas and Boise State have never met in a dual meet. This is only Boise State’s fifth year as a swimming program, but lack of tradition does not mean a lack of results for the Broncos; Boise State went 14-4 in dual meets during 2010 and won the WAC.
New Mexico St. Series History North Texas trails the all time series against New Mexico State 2-12, with the last meeting being a 123-177 loss in Denton on November 8, 2008. North Texas’ last win against the Aggies came on October 22-23, 2004 at the Sun Belt Fall Classic.
Rarefied Air This week’s meet takes place in Las Cruces, N.M., at 3896 feet above sea level. Due to the altitude, all races of 200 yards or more will have a time adjustment. For races of 200 yards, 0.5 seconds are subtracted, 2.5 seconds for 400 or 500 yard races, and 6.3 seconds from the 1000.
Tulane, Arkansas Recap DENTON, Texas- North Texas beat Tulane 140-102 and lost to perennial power Arkansas 163-75 in a double dual meet completed Saturday at the Pohl Recreation Center. North Texas is now 1-1 to start 2010-11.

“Today we were okay. I wouldn’t say we were great, we were not bad, we just okay,” said Head Coach Joe Dykstra. “Rosa Gentile continues to impress, she was awesome today. She did five races today, which is very tough, and she was awesome in all five of them.”
Momentum North Texas has won eight of its last 11 dual meets entering this weekend. In the final dual meet of 2009-10, they dropped a decision to powerhouse Texas A&M, and they have dropped two to Arkansas in that stretch. The 11 meet stretch is the best in North Texas’ program history.
All-Conerence North Texas had a program-record 29 All-Conference selections in 2010, shattering the previous mark of 16 from 2008.
