North Texas Relays And Green And White Meet Friday, Saturday
Mean Green Look To Build From Successful First Meet
DENTON – North Texas swimming and diving has two meets this weekend starting Friday with the North Texas Relays.
The Mean Green will race against the University of Houston, Arkansas Little Rock, SMU and Oklahoma Baptist in Lewisville at the LISD Westside Aquatic Center, Friday in what will be their second meet of the year. Saturday, North Texas will be back in the pool with their annual Green and White Meet hosted at the Pohl Recreation Center starting at 9:30 am. The diving portion of the Green and White Meet will happen at the Physical Education Building Natatorium at 9:00 am.
In its first meet of the year, North Texas dominated the pool against TCU and Texas Permian Basin in the North Texas Pentathlon.
The Mean Green’s Sarah Vaisse posted the fastest times in the 100-m backstroke, 100-m breaststroke and 100-m individual medley. North Texas newcomer, Emma Beth Jensen was the winner of the 100-m fly. She finished with a time of 56.80. Her time of 52.61 in the 100-m free was also the best. In total, seven athletes finished in the top 10.

300-yard butterfly relay, 300-yard backstroke relay, 300-yard breaststroke relay, 800-yard freestyle relay, 500-yard freestyle ladder relay, 400-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, 1,500-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard IM relay and 400-yard freestyle relay.
