Catia and the North Texas swimming and diving team host their final dual meet of the season when the Mean Green swims against Texas A&M on Friday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. The Mean Green hosts the Sun Belt Conference Championships Feb. 27 - March 3 in Rockwall, Texas.
So far this season, Catia has broken her previous school record in the 200 freestyle and was a part of the 400 free relay which set a new school record. She is a team co-captain and holds a spot in the all-time top 10 performer list in 10 events. She set or helped set six school records in her career.

Broke her own school record four times throughout the season ... 500 FREESTYLE: Took home gold after an NCAA 'B' cut 4:47.01 finals run at the SBC Championships, a school record ... Set the SBC and SBC Championships meet record with that time ... Broke the Sun Belt Conference record at the Mizzou Invite (12/1) in 4:48.89 ... 200 BUTTERFLY: Tapped out in a program best 1:59.65 at the SBC Championships, earning silver and a NCAA 'B' cut ...
