DENTON - With less than a month until the Conference USA Championships in Knoxville, the Mean Green swimming and diving team will travel out of the state for the last time of the regular season when it hits the road to New Orleans. North Texas is set to take on the Tulane Green Wave at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the Reily Center Natatorium in New Orleans in what looks to be a competitive dual matchup.

This will be the third time that North Texas has been in the pool with Tulane this year. The first meeting between the two sides came at the North Texas Relays in September where the Mean Green came away with a first-place finish over the Green Wave and the Mustangs of SMU. The group's second run-in came two months later at Houston's Phill Hansel Invitational. In that competition, Tulane got the best of the Mean Green as North Texas finished third overall.

If history is any indication of how the meet will play out then the Mean Green should like its chances heading into the weekend. North Texas picked up its only dual wins of the season last year in two meetings with the Green Wave.
