Rebecca Taylor Qualified For The NCAA Zone Diving Meet
North Texas Swimming and Diving Fell To Arkansas

The Mean Green’s Rebecca Taylor qualified for NCAA Diving Zone meet with her performance on three-meter this Saturday. North Texas hosted Arkansas, for the first dual meet of the season.
On the diving side, the Mean Green took first and second on the three-meter, with Taylor’s score of 288.60 securing her a spot at the NCAA Diving Zone meet, and first-place finish. Fellow North Texas senior, Catherine Johnson claimed second-place on both the one-meter and three-meter boards.
This was not enough to stop the Razorbacks, the Mean Green was shut out by Arkansas 94-207.
Mean Green junior Krista Rossum finished second in both the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM, the highest individual finishes of the meet.
Up next for the swimming and diving team will travel to Houston on Nov.1 to take on the Cougars.
