What is the biggest question facing North Texas teams heading into the 2014-15 season? That is the question MeanGreenSports.com is going to ask our coaches this summer. What does every sport need to accomplish in order to be successful?
Softball is first on our list. After having a record-breaking season in the spring of 2014, what does Coach Kee and the softball program need to do in order to continue to be successful?
Coach Kee successfully adapted to a new athletic program her first year at North Texas. She built relationships with her student-athletes, while leading the team to their best record season in school history.
Coach Kee talks about the future plans for the Mean Green softball program. She says there will be some changes in the lineup with six seniors graduating, five being starters. So the biggest question is... what does the coaching staff need to do to maintain the success of 2014?
Kee needs to replace a pitcher, shortstop, third baseman and left fielder. She emphasizes the importance of filling those positions and being able to build on the foundation that was laid this past season.
Mean Green softball will have a broad spectrum of players with returners and incoming freshmen.
