North Texas lost back-to-back extra-inning games to the Ragin' Cajuns. It is the second time this season that North Texas has played two extra-inning games in the same day. In the three games vs. ULL, North Texas scored 14 runs, which is the most that the Mean Green has scored against the Ragin' Cajuns in a three-game series.

Brittany Simmons pitched all 10.2 innings against Baylor. She allowed two runs off 10 hits, holding the Bears scoreless for the first five innings. The 10.2 innings is a season high, but it is not a career high. She pitched 11 innings last year against CSU Bakersfield.
