Why Jami chose North Texas: "I chose North Texas after I was injured at the University of Illinois resulting in surgery and a redshirt year. My little sister and I started talking about the possibility of us getting to play with each other again but at a college level. We both knew that was exactly something that we wanted to experience. I decided to graduate early and see what options would open up. Family is a huge part of my life and knowing that they could be here to support us made the decision that much more obvious. The UNT program was a perfect match for us. The coaches expect hard work and we had have the same outlook on the game. It felt like a good fit."
