Soccer Ranked 10th In South Region

DENTON, Texas- Wins over SMU and Houston over the weekend have propelled North Texas soccer into the top 10 of the South Region in the NSCAA Rankings. The Mean Green are ranked 10th in the South Region, and are only one of two Sun Belt teams to be listed.

The Mean Green are 4-0-1 on the season so far, which marks only the second time in school history that the Mean Green have been unbeaten through five games. North Texas is the only women's soccer team in the state of Texas that is still undefeated this season, and is the only Sun Belt school to have not suffered a loss so far.

North Texas takes on Sam Houston on Friday, September 9 with kickoff set for 7 p.m. at the Mean Green Soccer Complex. The Mean Green face the no. 9 team in the Central Region, Baylor, on Sunday, September 11 at 3 p.m. in Waco.
