Soccer Announces Changes to 2010 Schedule

DENTON, Texas—North Texas’ 2010 regular season finale against Denver has been moved from Denton to Denver, the Sun Belt Conference has announced.  The contest will continue to take place on October 29. The Mean Green will travel to Denver for the second consecutive season.

Additionally, North Texas’ game at UALR has been moved from Friday, October 22 to Thursday, October 21. Opening kick will remain at 7:00 p.m.

North Texas will open its 16th soccer season with the Alumni Game on Saturday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m. The season will officially kickoff when the Mean Green host Texas Southern on Friday, August 20 at 7:00 p.m.

The 2010 home slate will also include non-conference matches against Missouri State (August 22), New Mexico (September 5) and SMU (September 17). Sun Belt Conference opponents travelling to Mean Green village will be ULM (October 1), Louisiana-Lafayette (October 3), FIU (October 15), Florida Atlantic (October 17) and Arkansas State (October 24).
