Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

DENTON, Texas- North Texas soccer released its 2011 Spring schedule on Friday, announcing a seven game exhibition slate that kicks off on February 19. North Texas plays games against regional powers from the Big 12, SEC and C-USA, highlighted by a game at NCAA Quarterfinalist Oklahoma State.

North Texas starts the spring schedule off with two games in Houston on February 19. The Mean Green takes on Rice at 9 a.m. and faces LSUat 3 p.m. in the Space City.

The Mean Green take on NCAA Quarterfinalist Oklahoma State on February 26 at 5 p.m. in Stillwater, Okla.

On March 12, North Texas and TCU will square off in FC Dallas' home, Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, at 2 p.m.

North Texas plays a doubleheader in Tulsa, Okla. on April 2. North Texas kicks off the day at 2 p.m. with a clash against Arkansas, before taking on hosts Tulsa at 5 p.m.

North Texas closes out the spring on April 9 at 2 p.m. with a game at NCAA Tournament participant Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.
