DENTON, Texas - North Texas women's golf has signed Georgina Mundy and Keegan Moore to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday. Mundy is one of the top-ranked players from England, while Moore is a standout golfer from Weatherford High School.
"Keegan and Georgina will be great additions to the Mean Green golfing family," said head coach Jeff Mitchell. "They are hard workers, great students, and highly ambitious."
Mundy, from Southhampton, England, is one of the best junior players in England. Mundy finished 25th in the All-English Girls Amateur Championship and placed 20th in the English Women's Amateur Championship and is currently ranked 19th on the English Juniors Order of Merit.
Mundy was a member of the England vs. Scotland Amateur Championship, along with being her Club Champion, the Hampshire Girl's County Champion, and a South Girl's and Ladies Runner-Up.
Moore is ranked 13th in the state of Texas and 130th in the nation for 2012 graduates. She has 29 career tournament wins to her credit, including the 2011 Junior Open Championship at the Tribute. She is also a three-time regional qualifier and a two-time District 3-5A Champion.
