SAN ANTONIO, Texas - True freshman Georgina Mundy continues to be out in front to the lead the North Texas women's golf team after the second round of the Alamo Invitational. Mundy has a two-round score of 152 after a second round of 5-over par 77 and is one shot ahead of teammate McKenzie Ralston.
North Texas as a team struggled with a second round of 313 to remain in 15th place after 36 holes. Mundy had three more birdies on the day and has six through two rounds as she is tied for 45th place. Ralston shot a second round of 6-over par 78 and is tied for 49th place after the second day. Ralston had two birdies on the day.
Chaslyn Chrismer bounced back to shoot her best round of the tournament with a 5-over par 77. She is tied for 64th after two rounds. Taylor Kilponen fired her second straight 81 while Brooke Bailey had the toughest day with a second round of 89. No. 9 Oklahoma has an eight stroke lead on the field entering the final round tomorrow.
