ST. GEORGE, Utah. - Three players finished in the top-20 for the North Texas women's golf team in the final round of the BYU at Entrada Classic. Sophomore McKenzie Ralston finished in ninth place while Chaslyn Chrismer took home 13th and Georgina Mundy had a career-best finish in 19th place.
The Mean Green as a team finished in sixth place after a third round of 311. It was the third finish in the top-6 in three of the last four tournaments for North Texas.
Ralston struggled a bit in the final round as she was unable to post a birdie en route a third-round of 79, but for the tournament she finished at 226. The ninth place finish is tied for the second lowest finish of her career.
Chrismer finished tied for 13th place after a third round of 76. It is the third top-15 finish of the season for Chrismer and the third in the last four tournaments. Mundy finished in 19th place after carding three birdies on the day, but she recorded her first top-20 finish of her career.
Taylor Kilponen shot a third round of 78 and finished in a tie for 59th place. Brooke Bailey finished alone 74th after shooting final round of 86. No. 44 Wisconsin captured the team title.
North Texas is back in action on March 25-26 at the UALR Spring Classic.
