Kwon Records Another Top-15 Finish In Fall Finale
Mean Green End The Fall Season In A Tie For Eighth Place In Florida
SARASOTA, Fla – Sophomore Eji Kwon wrapped up her second top-15 finish of the fall season to lead the North Texas women’s golf team in the final round of the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational. Despite a final round of 4-over par 76, Kwon finished in a tie 11th place with a tournament score of 222.
Kwon notched top-15 finishes in two of the four fall tournaments. North Texas as a team slipped into a tie for eighth place after shooting a third-round of 314.
Maraea Durie had her second top-25 finish of the fall as she closed in a tie for 21st place. Durie had a final round of 8-over par. Laura DeLeonardis shot a third-round of 84 on the day and ended in a tie for 48th place.
Memphis captured the overall team title, holding off Dayton State and FIU. This is the final fall tournament for the women’s golf team as they head into the break to prepare for the spring season which begins February 23-24 at the Islander Spring Classic.
