Kwon Moves Up The Leaderboard In Florida After Two Rounds
Mean Green In A Tie For Sixth Place After 36 Holes
SARASOTA, Fla. – Sophomore Eji Kwon inched her way up the leaderboard to just outside the top-five after the second round of the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational for the North Texas women’s golf team. Kwon shot an even-par round of 72 with four birdies on the day to move into the top-10 in a tie for sixth place. Kwon is at 2-over par for the tournament at 144 and enters the final round only four strokes off the clubhouse leader.
North Texas as a team slipped into a tie for sixth place with Florida Gulf Coast after firing a second round of 304.
Maraea Durie is tied for 12th place after two-rounds of play after shooting 3-over par on the day. Durie had three birdies on the round and is 4-over at 148 for the tournament.
Memphis maintains the clubhouse lead over FIU after 36 holes, taking a five-stroke lead into the final round.
