Freshman Going After Fourth Straight Top-25 Finish

HONOLULU – Freshman Eji Kwon posted the best two-round score for the North Texas women’s golf team after two rounds of play at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. Kwon is tied for 21st after shooting rounds of 75 and 76.
She had seven birdies in two rounds. North Texas as a team is in 11th place after shooting a two-round score of 626. No. 35 Mississippi State has a nine stroke lead after two rounds of play.
Taylor Kilponen is tied for 39th place with a score of 154 after rounds of 76 and 78. Chaslyn Chrismer is in 52nd place after shooting a score of 156. Laura DeLeonardis in tied for 69th place with a score of 165 while Brooke Bailey is in 81st place with a two-round score of 171.
Kwon is going after her fourth straight top-25 finish of the season and potentially her fourth straight top-20 finish in the third round.
