 This was the second visit to the Super Pit by a Pac 10 team. The first was by Washington State in 1988. North Texas won, 87-85.

 North Texas held Arizona to 17 first-half points, the fewest the Mean Green has allowed in the first half this season. The previous low was 28 points by SMU.

 Mean Green junior Laura McCoy had three three-point field goals in the first half, matching her single-game high for the season. McCoy had three three-pointers against St. Bonaventure.

 McCoy had a season-high four three-point field goals on four-of-six shooting from the three-point arc.

 The 54 points North Texas allowed in the second half were a season high for a half for the Mean Green.

 Four of the Mean Green's five losses this year have been by five points or less.
