Jackson Named To The All-Conference Team

DENTON, Texas. (3/4/08) After enjoying a breakout season North Texas junior forward Amber Jackson was today named to the All-Sun Belt Conference second-team. Jackson leads North Texas in scoring, field goal percentage, and rebounding this season and she is the 11th player to earn all-conference honors for North Texas in the past eight years.

Jackson is ninth in the Sun Belt Conference in scoring, averaging 13.1 points a game and she is fifth in field goal percentage, hitting 50.3 percent of her shots. She notched a career-high 23 points earlier this season and has scored 15 points or more in 12 games this season.
