Game Notes For North Texas' 24th Game Of The Season
EL PASO, Texas — Game notes for the Mean Green's 24th game of the season. North Texas travels to UTEP on Thursday looking to win its fourth straight and set a program record for C-USA wins.

North Texas beat Florida Atlantic by 22 points and Florida International by 20 points last Thursday and Saturday. Prior to Thursday, the last time a Mean Green team beat an opponent by 20 plus was on Jan. 4, 2014. North Texas beat Cameron 69-41. The last time North Texas won consecutive games by 20 or more points was in January of 2006. That year they had five wins by 20 points. North Texas has never won three-straight games by 20 plus points.

North Texas' defense contained Old Dominion’s leading scorer Jennie Simms to 11 points below her season average twice. The second time they played, they held her to a season-low three field goals. Middle Tennessee’s Ty Petty was held to 0 points through three quarters versus North Texas and finished with 6.4 points below her season average. UAB's Deanna Kuzmanic scored 0 points against North Texas, 10.7 points below her season average. It was only the second time in Kuzmanic's career she was held scoreless.
