DENTON — North Texas returns to the Super Pit to host Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Prepare for Thursday's game with North Texas' game notes.

HOLDING THEIR BEST
North Texas' defense contained Old Dominion’s leading scorer Jennie Simms to 11 points below her season average twice. The second time they played, they held her to a season-low three field goals. Middle Tennessee’s Ty Petty was held to 0 points through three quarters versus North Texas and finished with 6.4 points below her season average. UAB's Deanna Kuzmanic scored 0 points against North Texas, 10.7 points below her season average.It was only the second time in Kuzmanic's career she was held scoreless.

SECOND HALF AT RICE
With 44 seconds left in the third quarter, North Texas trailed by 17 points to Rice.
In the final 17 minutes at Rice, the Mean Green outscored the Owls 41-18 to win the game in OT.
Kelsey Criner scored 18 points in the 4th quarter and overtime period combined.

OVERTIME WINS
North Texas is 2-0 in OT games this season. It’s the first time in program history the Mean Green have won multiple overtime games in a season. Both OT wins this year were on the road, North Texas only had 3 road OT wins in program history prior to this season. The Mean Green ended a nine game OT losing streak on Jan.5 at UAB.
