BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The North Texas women's basketball team will be trying to exercise some demons as they visit Western Kentucky Saturday morning. Making its third straight visit to the Bluegrass state in as many years, the Mean Green has never won in E. A. Diddle in seven tries. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. and the game can be seen on the Sun Belt Network.
North Texas is 0-3 in Sun Belt Conference play after an 83-63 loss to Middle Tennessee on Wednesday night. Junior Brittney Hudson notched a career-high 21 points against Middle Tennessee. The Mean Green's 36 points were the third most scored in the first half this season. As great as the first half was, the second half was just the opposite. The Mean Green had a second-half season low in points (27), field goal percentage (31.0), field goals (9), 3-pointers (0), and rebounds (12), which lead to a 21-point turnaround for MTSU.
