Mean Green Travel To Quail Valley Collegiate

VERO BEACH, Florida - The North Texas men's golf team is set to open its final fall tournament of the season Monday at the Quail Valley Collegiate, hosted by McNeese at Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida. The Mean Green are aiming to improve on last week's performance at the Tavistock Collegiate Intercollegiate, also in the Sunshine State.

The five-man lineup comprised of sophomore Ian Snyman, sophomore Devin Jackson, senior Cory Churchman, sophomore Thomas Rosenmueller, and junior Ross Martens will open the two-day event on Monday, October 24, carrying through Tuesday, October 25. The five Mean Green golfers are slated to tee off in round one on Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. CT and fans can follow all of the action with live results here, courtesy of Golfstat.com.

The 54-hole event will open with rounds one and two Monday, while the final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.

The Mean Green (No. 54 according to Golfstat) will compete against a talented field including host McNeese (No. 87), Liberty (No. 22), Kansas (No. 30), North Florida (No. 37), Arkansas (No. 38), Michigan State (No. 43), Jacksonville (No. 51), Ohio State (No. 57), Middle Tennesee (No. 61), Mississippi State (No. 75), Indiana (No. 77), Notre Dame (No. 93), West Virginia (No. 96) and Memphis (No. 129).
