Mean Green Golf Battles Through Rough Rounds

Choudrant, LA (10/18/04) After two rounds of play at the Squire Creek Intercollegiate, the North Texas Men’s Golf Team sits in a tie for 13th place.

"We are having a few good rounds here and there, but lately we have been struggling a little bit," said head coach Jim Bob Jackson. "We are going to start tommorrow like it is a new year, and try and finish the tournament strong."

Reid McPherson leads the Mean Green with rounds of 80 and 74 at the 7,105 yard, par 72 course. McPherson is currently tied for 41st place.

Andreas Kali isn’t far behind, in a tie for 52nd place after shooting 73 and 82. Kali’s 73 is the team low for the tournament.

Jason Lindgren is also tied for 52nd, but with rounds of 79 and 76.
