No. 35 North Texas Heads To Prestigious Tavistock Collegiate

WINDERMERE, Florida - The North Texas men's golf team begins action in its third fall tournament of the season Sunday at the prestigious Tavistock Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Central Florida at Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, Florida. The No. 35 (according to Golfstat) Mean Green look to build off of a strong second place finish last week at the David Toms Intercollegiate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The five-man lineup comprised of sophomore Ian Snyman, sophomore Devin Jackson, senior Cory Churchman, sophomore Thomas Rosenmueller, and junior Ross Martens will open the three-day event on Sunday, October 16, carrying through Tuesday, October 18. The five Mean Green golfers are slated to tee off in round one on Sunday morning at 7:25 a.m. CT on the 10th hole and fans can follow all of the action with live results here, courtesy of Golfstat.com.

Snyman is the 67th ranked individual player according to Golfstat, and 32nd according to GolfWeek, while Jackson comes in at No. 192 and Churchman at No. 205 according to Golfstat in their weekly rankings of the top 250 players in the country.

The Mean Green will compete against a very strong field including host UCF, Arizona, Arizona State, Augusta, California, Florida, Illinois, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Florida, Purdue, Texas Tech, UAB and Vanderbilt.
