North Texas posted a third-round score of 301 and finished in the middle of the pack at eighth place in a deep field of 16 teams.
“We can play better than we did but I saw some progress from the first tournament to this one,” said North Texas head coach Jim Bob Jackson. “The field was very deep and had a lot of talented teams and I was proud of the way that Cole (Howard) competed throughout. If we continue to work hard we will get to the point I want us to be at”.
Sophomore Harris Graham fired a final round of 2-over par 74 and finished at 227 for the tournament. Junior Anthony Broussard bounced back from a difficult first day in the third round and posted a 3-over par 75 to shoot a 232 for the tournament.
