Cazaubon And Ortiz Selected For WATC




DENTON, Texas -  The summer of fun for North Texas golfers Rodolfo Cazaubon and Carlos Ortiz continued as the pair selected for the Mexican World Amateur Team and they will compete at the 2010 Men's World Amateur Team Championship, to be played Oct. 28-31 at Olivos Golf Club and Buenos Aires Golf Club in Argentina.  

Cazaubon and Ortiz will play for the Mexican team as they compete for the World Amateur Championship.

The World Amateur Team Championships (WATC) were founded in 1958. They are competitions that take place every two years. They are organized by the International Golf Federation (IGF) and the national federations of golf from the host nation in every edition.

Teams of men and women come from all over the world to compete for the Eisenhower Trophy (men) and Espirito Santo Trophy (women) within three different zones: Asia Pacific, America and Europe & Africa.

An estimate of 120 teams (70 teams of men and 50 of women) will compete in World Amateur Team Championships 2010.
