Mean Green Sign Eiler




DENTON, Texas - The North Texas men's golf team has signed one of the top players from Pennsylvania as Peter Eiler has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Mean Green.  Eiler, is ranked as the 303rd junior golfer in the world by Junior Golf Scoreboard, has seven top-20 finishes and one-win this season.

Golfweek.com has Eiler ranked as the 196th player in the nation and the fourth rated player in the state of Pennsylvania.

"We are very excited about the addition of Peter to our team," said head coach Brad Stracke. "He's a very talented player who will fit right into what we are doing and help us reach our goal of winning a conference title."

Eiler, who plays at Council Rock South High School in Holland, Pennsylvania, began the season ranked at 358th but has moved up 55 spots during his senior season.

Golfweek.com has Eiler ranked as the 196th player in the nation.

Along with his win this season, Eiler has three top-five finishes, five top-10 finishes, and seven top 20 finishes in the tournaments he has competed in.
