Cazaubon Tied For 37th At NCAA Championship

MILTON, Ga. – Senior Rodolfo Cazaubon fell back just a bit in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship this afternoon after shooting a 2-over par 72. Cazaubon started the day tied for eighth place, dropped off the pace after his second round score and he is in a tie for 37th place.

Jon Rahm of Arizona State continues to hold the overall individual lead by just one stroke after two rounds. Rahm is at 7-under par, seven strokes ahead of Cazaubon for the national title.

Cazaubon is at even-par through two rounds of play with a score of 140. His second round began with another quick start as he was 2-under par after three holes with birdies on 11 and 12.

The next nine holes proved to be a sticking point for Cazaubon as he bogeyed four of the nine in that stretch to slip to 2-over par. He birdied the fourth hole but closed his round out with a bogey on the ninth hole.

Cazaubon plays his final round in a North Texas uniform tomorrow as the final round of stroke play begins in the morning. He tees off in the afternoon at 1:10 and live scoring can be found at
