DENTON, Texas – The honors and accolades continue to roll in for senior Rodolfo Cazaubon. Today the Golf Coaches Association of America announced that Cazaubon was named to the Division I PING All-Region team.
Cazaubon, who is playing for the national title in Atlanta this week, was honored by the GCAA and named to the Central Region team for the first time in his career.
Cazaubon is ranked in the top-50 in the nation by both Golfstat.com and Golfweek.com and is just the second four-time all-conference selection in school history.
He is the first golfer in the modern era at North Texas to win three individual titles in one season and play for the national title. Cazaubon is the first all-region pick for North Texas since Carlos Ortiz was named to the team in 2011.
