North Texas Heads To College Station For Aggie Invite
Mean Green Look To Improve Rankings As Season Approaches Final Stretch
COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The North Texas men's golf team heads to College Station for the Aggie Invite, hosted by Texas A&M at Traditions Golf Club, beginning Saturday. Ten of the 13 teams competing in College Station rank inside of the Golfstat Top 50, with four teams sitting inside the top eight nationally.
The five-man lineup comprised of sophomores Thomas Rosenmueller and Ian Snyman, senior Cory Churchman, as well as sophomores Devin Jackson and Trent Hill, will open the event on Saturday, April 1, carrying through Sunday, April 2. The five Mean Green golfers, as well as individual competitor, senior Andrew Hudson, are slated to tee off in round one on Saturday morning 7:30 a.m. CT (Hudson) and 8:50 a.m. (the five-man lineup) and fans can follow all of the action with live results here, courtesy of Golfstat.com.
The two-day, 54-hole event will open with rounds one and two on Saturday, carrying through the final round Sunday.
The Mean Green (No. 66 according to Golfstat) will compete against a very deep and talented field, including host Texas A&M (No. 17), Arkansas (No. 25), Baylor (No. 4), Kent State (No. 7), LSU (No. 8), Michigan (No. 46), New Mexico State (No. 157), North Carolina (No. 29), Oklahoma State (No. 2), Texas Tech (No. 13), Texas (No. 18) and UTSA (No. 94).
