Mean Green To Tee Off At Lamkin Grips SD Classic Monday
North Texas Looks To Climb In The Rankings With A Strong Performance In Southern California
SAN DIEGO - The North Texas men's golf team is set to begin its third tournament of the spring Monday, at The Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, hosted by San Diego State at San Diego Country Club.
The five-man lineup comprised of senior Cory Churchman, sophomore Ian Snyman, sophomore Thomas Rosenmueller, sophomore Trent Hill, and newcomer Kristof Ulenaers will open the two-day event on Monday, March 13, carrying through Tuesday, March 14. The five Mean Green golfers are slated to tee off in round one on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. CT and fans can follow all of the action with live results here, courtesy of Golfstat.com.
The 54-hole event will open with rounds one and two on Monday, and the third and final round Tuesday.
The Mean Green (No. 62 according to Golfstat) will compete against a talented field, including host San Diego State (No. 22), Arizona (No. 73), Colorado State (No. 79), Duke (No. 20), Middle Tennessee (No. 49), New Mexico (No. 48), North Carolina (No. 28), Ole Miss (No. 29), Pacific (No. 199), San Diego (No. 166), Saint Mary's (No. 58), Santa Clara (No. 126), Texas (No. 18) and UCLA (No. 59).
