PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida - Senior Cory Churchman finished sixth individually with a 1-under performance at The Hayt following the third and final round Sunday from Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Mean Green finished seventh at 18-over par.

"Cory had a great tournament," head coach Brad Stracke said. "He had a tough time dropping putts today, but did a fabulous job competing. Overall we had some good wins over ranked teams this week. We are looking forward to our next event in San Diego."

Churchman completed his tournament by finishing 3-over par Sunday, and was one of just six golfers to be under par on the weekend. The senior parred 15 times Sunday, and finished five shots behind the individual winner, Army West Point's Peter Kim.

Sophomore Ian Snyman continued his ascension up the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 20th. The South Africa native carded an even-par 72 Sunday, and birdied on five occasions, including back-to-back birdies on No. 7 and No. 8.

The Mean Green are back in action Monday, March 13, and Tuesday, March 14 at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic.
