North Texas Finishes Preparations For Bowl Game
Photo Day, Final Walk-Through, A Little Charity Work
DALLAS - North Texas spent its last day in Dallas before Tuesday's Zaxby's Heart Of Dallas Bowl with a few photos at the Cotton Bowl and a walk-through before retiring to the team hotel for final preparations.
Monday morning, the Mean Green had a team photo taken in front of the Cotton Bowl, an opportunity for players and coaches to take a few photos of their own. That was followed by a walk-through on the Cotton Bowl's natural-grass field.
In the afternoon, a few North Texas and Army players did volunteer work organizing toys at Jonathan's Place, which provides a safe, loving home and services to children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected.
The Mean Green are spending the late afternoon and evening at the hotel in meetings and having a final team dinner.
The North Texas Ticket Office has almost sold out its allotment of tickets for the game. For information on tickets, will-call times and locations, pre-game events and getting to the game, visit MeanGreenBowlGame.com.
