McCarney Signs Greer, Means and Smith
Dec. 19, 2013
DENTON, Texas – North Texas football coach Dan McCarney has announced the mid-term signings of quarterbacks Josh Greer and Connor Means along with linebacker A.J. Smith.
“I’m really excited about adding all three of these players to our roster,” head coach Dan McCarney said. “Josh and Connor bring another level of talent to the quarterback spot and will add some great competition for the spring. We are graduating two linebackers this year so A.J. has a chance to come right in and compete for a job. Having all three players here for the spring will be beneficial and I’m so excited they are with us now.”
Greer arrives in Denton after spending one season at Navarro College, Smith spent two years at Northeastern Oklahoma and Means graduated Deer Park High School in December. All three will participate in spring practice with North Texas.
